The Eclipse Gundam, as seen in the side story manga "ECLIPSE" of Mobile Suit Gundam SEED, now includes a newly designed striker pack called Raijin Striker. This kit features the Eclipse Gundam unit along with the newly molded Raijin Striker unit. The Raijin Striker pack is based on the Lightning Striker Concept and has a large battery pack that enhances its firepower. Junichi Akutsu, a mechanical designer, created the design for this new striker pack. The Raijin Striker Pack can be attached to the Eclipse Gundam even when it is in mobile armor mode. Additionally, the kit includes a new part for the head unit that showcases a sensor system, a display base, and a sheet of water slide decal, providing a complete package.
